Do I surf?..... No, as there is no water here, LOL however I am sure we have some, so show us you break and Surf Safaris!

I wish I surfed, but the murky CA waters are foreboding to me.

The one time I did go out as a teen, in Santa Cruz area, I took a few small waves close to shore and as I was walking out off the beach for my next wave, when I was about thigh high in the water something struck and left a sizable puncture right into the meat of my foot.

That was the end of my surfing dreams.

My best friend did a lot of long boarding in Santa Cruz. The water there is cold and indeed murky. I was more of a skater and snowboarder.

I’m assuming so. If it had been glass or some debris of something sharp, it probably would have stayed lodged in, but no idea, couldn’t see the bottom.
