Supply SE Max pivoting head razor proprietary blade or not test!

Bought the Supply SE Pivoting Head Razor that uses Injector style blades. Carefully look at razor head with cover open shows 3 shaped bumps that match their blades that have 3 holes. Plus a weak magnet inside head holds blade nicely. They have a special magazine to hold and load their blades. See pictures. 1 picture has magazine their 3 hole blade plus a Schick 2 hole blade below. The schick injector blade will actually work as long as you check blade alignment because it can change since the middle bump on razor head can effect a shift if not careful in closing it. Otherwise the Shick Injector blde will absolutely work. Got a 2 pass BBS with no touch-up pass with both the Supply blade and the Schick Injector blade. Since Schick Injector blades, Parker Injector Blades and Marvy Injector Blades are cheaper, bet you know which blades I'll be getting even though you have to manually load them

That's what I thought would happen, but that bump isn't very tall. So in shave didn't really notice any difference or not much to worry about. It does effect blade alignment if you don't close top slowly. So always check..because of only a minor inconvenience. I'm going to go with Schick Injector or cheaper as long as it shaves basically the same. Seems like because blade is thicker and less flexible than say A DE blade, it's doesn't effect it as much as you think it would. Definitely was surprised about how little it effect shave.

Been seeing ads for this! I was curious myself. As much as I loved the look of their regular injector, the one I had ended up being just too bulky and not comfortable enough.
