Super Gillette Blue Blades

This is regarding the one currently made in Shanghai, China by Gillette and not the old ones made in the USA (and other countries).

Let me start off by saying that the Internet is rife with fakes. I know as I have some I bought and they are a damn good copy, but shave like broken glass!!

However, the bonafide authentic ones are absolutely fantastic!! At least as good as an Astra SP and IMO better. 7 O'Clock better. Fortunately, I have found by sheer luck an Ebay vendor who sells authentic ones. I have ordered from him two times a year apart and both times they were authentic. Here's what they look like (not the vendor I used):

Now I know there will be some naysayer who is thinking "Why the Hell should I try those when there are plenty of good blades already?". Well, that's why there are more than one hamburger stand. As well, I am utterly amazed at the quality of authentic Gillette DE blades coming out of Shanghai. Also, if you didn't like variety then you wouldn't be on this forum.

I find it just crazy there are fake blade out there. I wouldn't think to myself, what has a great profit margin that I could capitalize on by making fake? Razor blades!

How do you compare the Super Gillette Blue blades to the Gillette Silver Blue blades that lots of us find to be very very good? Frankly, I've read some reviews of the Super Gillette Blue blades made in China and those reviews seem to say they are quite horrible. I'm always open to finding something new since that is what drives this hobby and our acquisition disorders. I'm not trying to bash them either. Just trying to get an accurate perspective not he blades.

Those people assuredly got fake blades as there were a lot of people buying these on DX a few years back and all received counterfeits. I will send you a PM where you can get the authentic ones.
