I started honing on lapping films. Then picked up a Naniwa stone set up to 12k. I finally picked up a Surgical Black Ark for a finisher. I would like to hear some discussion on preparing an SB for use.

I am definitely in for the knowledge of the other members. I would also like to learn more about honing, everyday maintenance, and which extra side of a strip is best (i.e cotton, linen, denim, etc)
