I don’t know if any of you knew, but Storybook came out with 2 new scents since I bought from them. Hook sounds the most interesting to me, but both the new scents are out of stock. I’ve email to see if they have an ETA.

I have heard good things about this soap company but have never tried any. I'll need to get a sample one day. Agreed the Hook scent sounds nice

Another one of the new artisan soap makers I've been eyeballing lately. Almost pulled the trigger on Visions and Revisions (I think that's the name)

Man there are just too many soap makers now. I’ve never heard of this company. What are we on wave 8 or 9 or artisans now? Crazy. I haven’t tried anything new in years, with only a couple of exceptions from PIFs.

Well I’ll let you all know. I plan on buying Hook when it’s available again.

I tried samples of SS Coffee Spoons and Visions & Revisions. Thought the performance was very nice and enjoyed both scents. The Visions & Revisions is on my "to buy" list.

Hook is definitely in stock on the website and has been for a couple of weeks.

I purchased Visions and Revisions and it is a nice soap described on the website as follows: "We blended bergamot, orange, and lemon on top of a dark black tea and earthy lavender base to build a citrusy Early Grey scent. This soap is like a relaxing cup of tea at the end of a long day!" I have enjoyed using it.

To complicate things I also recently purchased a tub of Noble Otter Thé Noir et Vanille, which translates to Black Tea and Vanilla--from the NO website:
"what we envision a late night cup of tea in Paris smells like. Off the soap you pick up beautiful notes of loose black tea. After lathering you start to notice the subtle florals and citrus from the jasmine and bergamot, all while being engaged with a sweet and warm vanilla. Perfect for anyone who loves tea. Notes: Bergamot, Loose Black Tea, Jasmine, Strawberry, Vanilla"

@Dagwoodz does an excellent review of Thé Noir et Vanille on this forum.

So you have two similar soaps which are based around black tea and the citrusy bergamot. While I enjoyed using Visions and Revisions, I loved using Thé Noir et Vanille. The scent is simply intoxicating and this soap is now in my topmost tier.

I purchased a tub a Visions & Revisions and Coffee Spoons...mostly because there are lines from one of my favorite poems. I tried Visions & Revisions a couple weeks ago and thought that is was a very nice tea scent and tip notch performance. The Coffee Spoons soap has the same performance, but it being a coffee scent...it's more for novelty.

The thing that I like about Coffee Spoons - and what makes it different from most of the coffee-scented soaps I’ve used is the lack of a sweet component. Most of the coffee soaps I’ve tried smell more like a coffee-flavored McDonalds milkshake.

Well I have been eyeing Hook for awhile. Had a razor sell on the bay so ordered the soap and aftershave at Maggards. Had to get to $45 for the shipping so added a Declaration Grooming Trismegistus to round it out.
