Stewed tomatoes!

Here's our start for today.

The War Department, with a little help from yours truly, canned 6 quarts last night.

This was breakfast. Tasted funny, smelling those stewed tomatoes cooking down.

Not the corn. We were gifted some in exchange for some canning lids. We froze 20 cups of corn last week! A good trade I'd say!

And some of the tomatoes came from a friend. The same one who gave me the vast majority of my plants this year!

I'm blessed with some great people in my life.
