Super Speed/Super Platinum day 2
De Vergulde Hand Extra Fris SS
Proraso Blue ASB
Aqua Velva Musk AS Splash

This Extra Fris version of De Vergulde Hand is terrific - first of all this is the oldest brand in the world because it’s been around for well over 450 years. The scent (to me) is very nice - it’s soapy with aquatic notes, it gives AMAZING lather so easily, although it’s not the slickest soap it still leaves a comfortable post-shave feeling. The Proraso Blue balm felt so moisturizing as well as soothing, and the Aqua Velva Musk aftershave smells great. Another brilliant three pass BBS shave that was really enjoyable!

Beautiful head shave, Akhi.

I did not know CeraVe has a lotion with SPF50. I will have to seek that out. I use CeraVe Moisturizing Cream everyday on my trouble areas of my body. Great stuff.

Brut After Shave

I started with the cold water rinse. The Williams lathered well with the Jayaruh #425. I did two passes with the Superior Lather Catcher razor with a Personna Gem PTSE Single Age Bladee. After a cold water rinse, I finished with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Brut After Shave. I am now clean, smooth, and refreshed.

Did I ever freeze my face off this morning - the Glacial Electric Sheep is the first and only mutton tallow based Glacial soap. Its scent is the same awesome blend of lemon, citronella and eucalyptus, the lather is superb, the slickness is terrific, the menthol sensation is so powerful that it feels almost borderline painful, in a good way, of course!) and the post-shave feeling is so comfortable. The Gold Bond moisturizer works so well as a balm, and the Rubby Dubby Doo went on frigidly cold. (I’ll soon need another bottle!) The new Super Platinum blade helped ensure a perfect three pass BBS shave that I enjoyed immensely!

A glorious arctic shave fit for a polar bear... and a sheep🐑 Time to buy more Osage Rub. That stuff is terrific. I love how the scent changes as part of the dry down.

What an awesome Shabbat shave, Akhi! How many pucks of MWF do have in the wings? It will be a sad day when we use it all up.

Thank you Akhi! I was fortunate to be in the right place at the right time. Earlier this month one of my shaving friends sold me five vacuum sealed pucks, Two tallow and three veggie so I'm well stocked. At some point I would consider trading for another unobtanium shaving product. How many do you have in reserve?
