Here is a piece that I am proud of - my Smart Helix Apollo razor. This company is out of the Ukraine…the gents behind it are all engineers. I love the knurling and the weight balance of this razor, plus the tongue and groove wood of the case. IMO art that you can shave with. It works similar to a Rockwell 6S as you flip the base to modify the level of efficiency. There is a lite version - which is basically cutting the baseplate in two to provide two base plates to save in weight. It is a heavy razor at just above 200 grams. It is not my daily driver as either level provides signif blade feel, but I love the look and feel of this razor. I use it mostly for head shaves which I can take higher levels of aggression.

It is a modern stainless Steel razor. From what I’ve read, and my limited correspondence with the company- they are a small group of three engineers that are doing this as a hobby. Last year I heard they made less than 40 of this razor - I don’t know the breakout of the lite version.
i saw videos from geofatboy, Kevy shaves, and Paul H films that used this. I really love the packaging- the case is artwork by itself the way the tongue and groove work - you can tell they are engineers
I recently purchased the Apollo Light version of this razor and it is spectacular. The “Light” designation pertains to the slimmed down dimensions of the base plate. The resulting head is super sleek and a real joy to use. The quality of the razor itself, as well as the overall presentation, are top shelf. To top it off, the razor took only one week to travel from Ukraine to Texas. One item to keep in mind, the razors are manufactured upon ordering so the production time plus shipping was a total of 3 weeks.
