Shark Platinum

Recently, Lord in Egypt released a new Shark blade titled Platinum. I bought a tuck in an order awhile back and today I used one in an English "flat bottom" Tech in concert with A&E Tertius soap on a two day beard. Now I know this soap is top tier from prior usage, but the shave was merely ordinary IMO. It really did not impart any real smoothness (sharpness) like a Gillette blade per my experiences. Yes, the end result was very good, but the journey was not 1st Class.

I have never got great results from any of the Shark branded blades. Not the worst blade I have tried. But nothing I would ever buy again. Sorry for the experience.

I just sent one of these to @Cvargo. Hopefully it will show up in a bad blade video before too long.

If it is anything like the Shark Chrome then it won't be a good blade. The Shark Super Stainless is a good blade, however. I hope the Platinum is more like the SS.

Yes, years ago I liked the Stainless and not so much the Chrome just as you. The best Lord blade is their Platinum (just plain Platinum name) with their Super Chrome a second IMO. Regardless, I still prefer Gillette by a long shot.
