If you like lemon, you'll love this soap. The predominant aroma is lemon, with a hint of lavender. It reminds me of those lemon safety lollipops I enjoyed as a kid. In fact, it smells exactly like them to me. I don't mean overly sweet, just a strong lemon scent.
I kept going to Shannon's Soaps website, but could never find this in stock. I emailed Shannon to ask if she was planning to offer it in her premium goat milk formula, she replied that she was not, but offered to make it custom. I ordered two tubs, which cost me only $35 shipped. Cadre, that's a bargain! This soap is Elite: lathers beautifully into a thick, creamy, silky lather exploding with flavor. Cushion, glide, and post shave skin nourishment are topnotch.
This joins CBL and LNHC in my den. I have no other soaps but these three, and consider them equal. They all are Elite soaps that never fail to deliver. I don't need to try anything else, these soaps are perfect.

Shannon's Soaps is top notch stuff plus she is a great person to deal with (same goes for CBL and MER Shaving). Have had the pleasure of meeting both her and her husband at the Maggard Meet Ups over the years. Shannon's is a artisan that has been around a while now and has a soap base that can compete with many of the more popular choices IMO.

I found that their goat milk formula created a lesser quality lather than their regular tallow soaps. YMMV.

Good stuff from Shannon's. Her soaps are 1/3 of the holy trinity of soap artisans for me (Lisa's, Shannon's & GD. Still need to get some CBL in my hands). She produces amazing soap at a more than fair price. My favorite is Copaiba Rose but, all her soap scents are pretty darn good.
