Shave Newbie
How about them Schicks? I used a F to delete a 2 month beard the other day. Any others have a favorite? I think I prefer the older E and G models. My one pick for favorite would probably be my early E2 that opens for cleaning. It's a veddy strong blade feel. They all shave great though.

Yes they are nice shavers. I have a couple ( I forget which one I have ) I will have to look later.. I know I have one I had to replace the handle on ( a type E) as it crumbled to touch..

I might have mis-spoken as I can't remember if the one I replaced the handle on is an E or a G.. I'll have to look later and figure it out again..

I do enjoy the Schicks. They are some great shavers. Haven't used one in quite some time though. Have a decent collection of them.

M Adjustables are my go to for injectors. I really like them with twin blades. Faceroll easy shaves.

I enjoy the old Schick's a lot. I don't have many different variations but the 1930-1940 Type E treat me well. What I like most about them is the firm single edge, they deliver a shave that is different than (even superior to) any other DE I have. There aren't a lot of blade choices for the injectors but I managed to get my hands on the first blades made/sold buy those guys that made a modern version of the old Schicks (I think they are called "Supply" something) and I like those blades a lot.
Honestly, I don't grab the injector all that often but if it was all I had on a desert island I would probably be happy enough.

I don't have a problem with the newer (1970+) Schicks but I just like the older versions better, they look better and seem to fit my hand/face best.

I am a fan of the older models also. I just use personna blades or modern Schicks that are made in China. The blades all give several good Shaves.

Looks like I have one schick loaded up. I’ll use it for my next shave.

I really enjoy them. I mostly straight razor shave now but had I started with either the Schick that I have, or the Gems that I have collected I believe I could stop with any of them and be perfectly content.

I love my Schicks. In addition to being a beautiful razor with a unique design, the C3 shaves amazingly well. The F, however, may have the most classic timeless beauty of any. My E1 may provide the closest shave of them all but I don’t think you can beat the G series for an example of wonderful industrial art.
