Saint Charles Shave closed

Did anyone happen to know that Saint Charles Shave closed its doors earlier this week? I went on their website and saw this:


"SO LONG FROM SAINT CHARLES SHAVE!

"It's June 9th, 2019 and Saint Charles Shave is closing its doors. The site was the passion of my Mom, Sue Moore, and take it from me, she enjoyed it immensely and learned a lot from so many of you that were kind enough to take the time to give her feedback on her products, suggest new scents and most of all, build friendships with her!

"As medical issues began to take their toll, so many of you were there for her. And to the Badger and Blade folks who gave her so much support when things were at their worst - and afterward as well - you will never be forgotten.

"Thank you!

"And thank you so much for supporting me when I continued the business! But it's time for me to focus on family now so this chapter must come to an end. What an incredible ride it has been. To all of you... I wish you the very best and thank you for your loyalalty over the years! You will be missed!!

Saint Charles Shave has closed..... :( :( :(

I was just going to their site to check out some things, and read that on June 9th, Wendy closed the shop down. So sad to hear this as they were one of my favorites, and like Honey Bee Soaps, SCS was one of the original soap makers for us in the hobby. Thier Fairway soap was one of my absolute...

Sad to see, but being done for the right reasons.

Her Mom was a very nice lady that was loved by so many! We were both vendors together on another board for several years and it was nice that Wendy was able to continue what her mother did but everything has it's time and it is good that she can now focus on her life and her loved ones and that is the way it should be! Best of Luck to Wendy!
