Rockwell 6s and 6c

Dave in KY

Shave Newbie
I love my 6s and have thought of getting a 6c for travel although I never really worried about having a special travel razor. I like the 6c Gun Metal but it's been out of stock for quite some time. Got a notice the other day they were taking pre orders for it so I checked out the sight but talked myself out of it and put it out of my mind. Got an email notice this afternoon that there was only 1 day left to pre order but this time a code for 20% off. Couldn't pass it up. I now have a steady Travel Razor that should ship end of July or beginning of August (I forget what the email said)

Anyone else use one of the Rockwells?

I own a 6S and it does provide a great shave. But honestly I don't use it much. I've been considering selling it.

Hmm...I think I know where there is a BST...

I’ve got a 6C in white chrome that I enjoy. I chose the C over the S because someone stated the Chrome glides smoother than the brushed stainless. I also got 20% off.

I use a 6S and it is a very nice razor. I have seen criticisms of it based on its industrial look but I like the fact that it is built like a tank. For that reason it has become my travel razor although it also remains a part of my regular rotation.

One thing I like is that I don't have to concentrate while using the Rockwell. It gives me good consistent shaves without having to ponder each move.

The one criticism I would make is the top heavy nature of the Rockwell which causes me to counterbalance the weight with my grip. I don't have this issue with the Karve, another multi-guard system.
