Recommended Video Editing Software for YouTube Videos

Hey Y'all,
Not sure if this is the place to list this question but II was wondering if any of you can recommend a good video editing software for SOTD and travel videos. I use a windows computer and have a limited budget (free would be nice if that exists anymore).

Probably not the answer you’re looking for. I don’t do any editing other than throwing an intro and outro on it and I use iMovie for that. On the rare occasion I want to add in photos or something over the video I use Film Maker Pro. All on my iPhone.

If you are on an IOS product Imovie as mentioned above, and if you want total editing and special effects I have and recommend PowerDirector 365. it renders the fastest and has literally Everything you will ever need, although I but pricey

I’ve only done a handful of videos on the Windows platform. Most of my videos were made with iMovie like Dave. But I have done a couple with Microsoft Clip Champ. Because it’s only been a couple of times I can’t say I have any opinion there. But as I recall it was pretty easy.

Thanks fellas. All good options to consider. I've used clip champ recently for a travel video and although easy it was pretty easy to use, it was also clunky and slow. Good to know the power director suite is worth the $$$.

Also worth noting YouTube itself has a basic editing software.
