HEADLINE: Top executive canned because he was empty inside!

This doesn't happen very often, but when it does, it feels great! Forty-nine (49) shaves on this tub--how's that compare to others with Stirling? I feel that I load soap on the heavier side.

Perhaps it would be fun to catalog anytime we finish something off (however rarely that may be)?

I've never finished a tub, but 49 definitely seems like a low number. But I have been loading a lo more in the past year than I did before, so I may go quicker for me now too.

I hate running out of lather mid-shave and having to return to the puck. If I have to, it feels like a failed shave. Always do three lathered passes plus a fourth lather while cleaning up. Could explain why I wholeheartedly adhere to the "load it like you hate it" mantra...

I'm not sure... It's a pretty nice tub--I'd hate to throw it away. Plus it doesn't have the little recycle symbol on it, so I don't think that's an option either...

Suppose I'll just keep it and either put something else in there (I have a couple of soaps without homes, e.g., Haslinger, Fine) or order a refill from Stirling at some point. Although, after about a month with this scent, I'm pretty sick of it.

Great post.
Those tubs are great for holding little things like a small Phillips screw driver, thumb tacks super glue.
You know all those little things we know we had somewhere. But can’t find it when you need it ?.

Congratulations. I have no idea how many shaves I have on my Stirling tub. I would guess though that I am closer to 100 at this point.

And yes NurseDave, it is still going strong.
