Questions about AliExpress

okay I know a lot of you guys buy from Yaqi or other sites on Aliexpress and I have a question for you. I know that Aliexpress allows payment with PayPal or Paypal Pay Later but does anyone know if either of these methods is the same as Paypal Credit or do you know how to use paypal credit on there? I am looking at making a purchase from AliExpress and I want to use PayPal Credit but I dont know how to.. I can Not find any info about paypal credit on AliExpress........ Please help me someone !!!

Aliexpress uses the same PayPal credit system as in the US - but like here - some vendors do not offer it or have it set up. When paying, select Paypal which will then redirect you to the PP site, if PP Credit is available foe that vendor then you should see the option and/or the Pay in 4 option. If the vendor is not set up for PP Credit - you’ll only see the regular PP option (your Bank, Credit Card, or Debit card) available.

I thought PP Credit was just internal to PP. When you select PP to pay from any website it takes you to PP and you select what your payment preference is within PP. So if you have PP Credit set up, you should be able to select that as an option. Right? Maybe? I've never used it. I just have my CC in PP, and use that.

The PP Credit is their own credit card. Otherwise, as others have said, just add your payment card of choice to your PP account, and choose that on checkout within PP. I've used it with AliExpress and my own card, without issue.

Thanks for the replies. It shows PayPal as a choice and pay in 4 as an option. So to get to PayPal credit do I just click on the regular PayPal option ? Or do I click on the pay in 4? I have never used the pay in 4 before so it confused me when it showed that....

So the Pay in 4 is like you using regular Paypal - you will pay 1 payment every two weeks for a total of 4 payments - but it uses your usual PayPal payment settings. PayPal credit is like you using a credit card - Paypal is paying it upfront - and if you pay it off within I believe it is 6 months - there is little or no interest.

Thanks. So I guess that means since it is just showing the plain paypal and the pay in 4 then that means paypal credit is not accepted?

Again, The site you are shopping on has nothing to do with paypal credit. It's internal to Paypal. You have to set it up in PayPal. Then when you check out using PayPal, you select PP Credit as your payment option.

That is correct Paypal credit is not part of the shopping site - but there are times even when you have PayPal Credit set up that the option is not available as a payment choice.

So a lot of people use that for Barber Dave's YouTube channel?

I just hope that no one is using credit to actually buy wethsaving gear. It's one thing to get miles, points, or cash back. But don't pay interest on this stuff.
