Question about ingredients

As some of you know I haven't tried a Bay Rum soap before and found one by an unknown maker. Are these ingredients okay ? I trust you guys and gals opinions and just want to be sure that it might be okay before I buy it.. a 2 oz sample is 4.50 and a 5+ oz container is 7.95... well the ingredients are as follows...
Main Ingredients: Purified Water, Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Soybean Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Stearic Acid, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Organic Unrefined Shea Butter, Glycerin, Organic Coconut Oil, Vitamin E
The Bay Rum also Contains Bentonite Clay.
Thanks for your time..I appreciate it a lot !!

Generally speaking, Olive oil does not make for a good shave soap, but some do pull it off. Victory shaving is one that uses it successfully.

Are you concerned about the clay? It’s added to soaps for slickness.

Also, there are many, many bay rum soaps or there. If you want to try that scent, why not go with a maker that you are familiar with?

I guess I was interested because it was inexpensive so if I didnt like it I wouldnt be out much. I knew about the clay because I had looked at making some soap before. thank you though KJ... I accidentaly made that part about the clay bold and when i realized it, it was to late to change it... I didnt know about the problems with olive oil.. also again thank you for the heads up..

For the price, it may be worth a sample. But with olive oil that high on the list, I wouldn’t expect much.
