Ken Surfs on YouTube tried one out today. Proprietary blades at around a buck each. Hard pass.

Definitely lost me at "proprietary blades".

I’d bite if the opportunity presented itself but the proprietary blade thing is a REAL turn off, enough that the price of the razor would have to be super low. There’s a unique multi-blade (like 6 or 8 blade) thing on Alibaba.com that I find intriguing but the price is consistently high so I never move on it. Advantage there is it uses regular DE blades that are cut (using the included cutter tool) then loaded into the bazillion blade razor.

Uhh.... no. Wilkie gives me pause, but if history and experience tells me anything... more than 2 blades is a recipe for disaster!
