Okay so the issue is STILL happening sporadically. And it appears to ONLY be effecting Chrome users, with the most updated Chrome update that was released sometime yesterday. Google is releasing this update in batches so if you are a chrome user you may or not have the ability with the 'Reply" button. Our tech support is working on this issue, but it is apparently NOT an easy fix. So here are some workarounds.
1: Still in Chrome
Open the message and if the reply button is not visible. First try and clear cookies and cache. If that does not work, while on the message hit F5 or refresh the page. This sporadically works.
2: Use a different browser
We apologize for the inconvenience and are hopeful that this will be resolved sooner rather than later.
