I am not sure how much longer my beloved slap of P.160 Tipo Morbido will last, but I would surmise that its remaining life can be measured in weeks on one hand. To that end, I have lined up three contenders for my next 3017 soap, and nope, it's not my kilo of P.16- Tipo Duro. 🤪

Haslinger is well known already; the Shaving Yeti and TTF soaps are nice, with the former smelling like a margarita and the latter like, well, pink grapefruit. Either of these would be very nice with summer coming up.

Thoughts?

I dunno about the other two, but I wouldn’t use Through the Fire for a day, so I wouldn’t suggest it for more than that.

Didn't you just get some fancy CBL soaps?
Yup, but stock rotation says try to kill an old one before its scent goes (all are still fine right now). Outside of the Rose and Carnation (my fav scent from what he sent!) from Chris, the others all appear more suited for colder weather soaps.

Well dang. I had June 28th I think. Won’t make it that far. That was one big ol’ cake of soap!

I had the TTFFC Pink Grapefruit and thought it was OK but not great. I'd go with the Haslinger even though I've not tried the Aloe.

Oh - and I think that you should stretch the P.160 to 5 weeks. :)

I am probably in the minority (as I have the only vote for it)...but I am bigger on TTFFC than the other two. Not sure of this particualr formulation, but I seem to get pretty good shaves from Maria's soaps...except for that Rose Currant she made for the Sue Moore Auction...that stuff really lit up my face!

I like other TTFFC soaps, but for me the Grapefruit was only meh. I suspect that it's because Maria only used grapefruit essential oil. My guess is that the scent just disappears too quickly from this particular one.
