i was looking at a video recently about personna lab blues that are u.s. made and some from germany that are platinum coated. i was looking on amazon and there was personnas in a red packaging. is there any difference between the variants of personna lab blades or do they pretty much all fuction the same just with different branding? i am looking for a more smoother shave. any thoughts would be grealy apreciated. thanks

Personnas are all over the place! Many different types and packagings and labelings. It’s kinda confusing when you dig into it all, and I have never found any final consensus on all of them (I tried to do this back in the day). So far, I’ve found the newest Diamond glides to be excellent, but I haven’t used them long enough to see if they stack up to the old US Platinum Chromes (my favorite Personna).

ive done about 3 head shaves with this personna blades and to my skin they are very smooth and sharp. not too much irrattation with head shaves. ive only done a neck area shave with them and they were still pretty smooth and comfortable. overall liking these blades atm
