"TSC's Shave Sales Deal Finder"
I just read elsewhere that Paradigm is teaming up with Grooming Dept (Mo) to build a new razor. It will be called the 'Opus One' and be branded by 'Apogee Razors'. It will be a stainless "daily shaver", in what sounds like a lower price point (?).

It was also announced that the Javelin (titanium?) is going on the back burner.

Well there you go, fwiw. Seems like we're getting an influx of 'daily drivers' recently. Not a bad thing, IMO.

I've been watching the huge artisan DE market blow up, but don't use DEs, but i didn't understand that most weren't "daily drivers". what are we talking about, when we talk about "daily driver" cost, appearance, feel?

It's not my words, but I liked the sound of it. From the context of the post, I think they're talking about smooth, low aggression, efficient. I don't think daily driver was apart of the price discussion. That was covered in another part of the post.
 
Oops, Guess it was in the same sentence...

"So the razor will be in stainless, a "daily driver" type, with a price tag that should be in the range of anybody on this forum."

Still, I didn't get that he was connecting the two.

Mo, further expounded on this a bit later...

"At some point in the near future, we'll reveal more details. But rest assured, your type of needs is why we designed this razor. The razor will be a daily shaver, that's efficient, yet lacks aggression."

Andy later on stated there would be a more aggressive version too.

"There will definitely be a more aggressive version. Shavers of all styles will be accommodated."

for @Dave in KY , he did say this about the Javelin...

"To all of you who had been anticipating the Javelin, it is only postponed, not cancelled."

Hope that clears things up? Just wanted to share, make sure everyone is in the know. Definitely didn't want to copy the whole thing. Lol.

@Aaron I know GD makes soaps and has there fans and I’m not interested in a “war” but why would one not be interested ? I’m just curious
 
hope the javelin project comes back at a later time, it's been my number one razor for over a year.
