A little late getting this up guys as I have let the month slip away from me, but a new month begins this week and a new month of themes starts tomorrow!
October brings in a lot of happiness for me. Mostly because October weather gets a little cooler for us here in the Deep South...well at least it is supposed to! But also, I really enjoy the fall themes in life in general. In times past, the harvest was a time of hard work, but also happiness and relief. Leaves of the trees change colors and make the world a vibrant place! My wife's favorite holiday is Halloween and so October puts a broader smile on her face. We love seeing the kids dress up in costumes. All in all...October seems to be a happy time! The Cadre is always supportive and happy...but let's make it all the more cheerful!
September 30 - October 13: Free Falling: Yup...I am taking a liberty here and making our first two weeks the same theme. So essentially these weeks are free weeks. But if you are so inclined...you can make then a little fallish. Hence the Free Falling! But honestly...it's entirely up to you!
October 14 - 20: Drug Store Shave: Let's change it up for a week and shave with all those soaps and creams that you can pick up at the drug store...or at least we think you should be able to pick up at the drug store. That is...most of us can't walk down to the local drug store and pick up a stick of Arko or a tub of Proraso...but on all accounts...those things are cheap enough that you should. I think you all get the point!
October 21 - 27: TSC Artisan Week Featuring Stirling Soap Company @Joe Hackett - As if Stirling Soaps need any introduction? This week is dedicated to the hard work and wonderful products that Rod creates for the wet shaving world! So show us your favorite Stirling Soaps!
October 28 - November 3: The Stuff October is made of: This week will be dedicated to the various aspects of the last week of October and the first few days of November. That is...show us what you are shaving with that relates to all of these aspects...Halloween...Dia de los Muertos...the Final Harvest...creepy stuff...or harvest stuff...leaves changing...heart of fall...what every you make of it!
Well...there you are gents. I hope you enjoy the Month of October and all the shaves that it involves!
