Noble Otter Lonestar

Noble Otter Lonestar
What a nicely scented soap from an underrated soap company! From their website: "The sage in bloom is like perfume", thats where we started when we decided to make a new scent dedicated to the state of Texas. Lonestar is our vision of that scent. The olfactory experience starts with top notes of sage and lemon, followed by the heart notes of magnolia and Texas cedar. Finally, the base notes includes the truly Texas experience of oakmoss, leather and hay.

The soap performs wonderfully and this scent is exquisite to my nose. I picked this up as an afterthought to Texaus and what a surprise it has been. Noble Otter is masterful with scents like Thé Noir et Vanille and Lonestar. Those two I really like, Texaus not so much.

It really does smell fantastic.I'm a big fan of atmospheric scents, and this really captures the smell of the west for me.
(Just wish it didn't light my skin up because it's really one of my favorite scents. :) )

I really like Lonestar...my wife not so much. BUt I think KJ @Spider said it best a while back. Lonestar accomplishes something in a scent the Ghost Town Barber fails at. Both are definitely in the same wheel house...but Lonestar just does it better. That soap base is where it is at though! it produces just an amazing shave!

I have been using Noble Otter Flying Hide lately as a new acquisition. The performance is phenomenal! This soap needs more love. I’m not a cowboy, or work with leather, but the awesome “worked in leather” scent brings me back to years of playing baseball as a kid. I will certainly be getting more Noble Otter scents in the future.
