Shave Newbie
I an old Military brat . I currently reside outside of Philadelphia Pa area. I came back to DE shaving to save some money with the high cost of modern shaving. We I fell in the rabbit hole of vintage razors and modern DE blades. I tried to shave with my fathers Gillett adjustable back in the early 80's . Well needless to say I ended up with lots of nicks. So I went to 2 blade cartages and never went back until about 7 to 8yrs ago. Replacement blades were just getting to expensive and I found good DE blades to be much cheaper. So thats my story. All the best to you all.

LOL, yeah, lots of us have spoken these same words and have heard the legends of this fantastic story of saving money. However, none here have achieved this with much success. All have succumbed to at least one (or more, 😅) of the spending pitfalls along the journey.

Welcome and have fun

Welcome indeed. I for one have most certainly NOT saved money switching to traditional, DE or straight razors…but I expect to shave another 20 years or so so I suppose there’s time to break even
