I returned to wet shaving two years ago in July 2016 and have enjoyed the relaxation of a good close shave as well as collecting vintage gear.

I recent invite from my friend and fellow Oregonian, Dave (DCRIII), piqued my interest in this new forum. As a veteran, the word Cadre evoked fond memories of my service in the U.S. Army, especially the esprit de corp I experienced with 2/11th ACR.

I am am looking forward to getting acquainted. Thank you Dave for the invite.

They voted against that but forced use of initials especially if the last one is a “J” is still possibly on the table for the next expansion!?????
