I just found a new Gillette shaving cream called Planet Kind, kind to the skin and the planet with cucumber & vitamin E. I found mine in a brand new display, at the local target.

Very interesting, considering that I figured P&G had left the notion of a brush lathered shaving cream in the dust long ago. I have not yet tried it yet, but it has a very pleasant cucumber/mint scent which I’m excited to try out.

Below is an article that popped up in a quick google search, that was quite enlightening.

Gillette® Launches Planet KIND, a New Line of Products That Are Kind to Skin and the Planet

I test lathered it with about and almond sized dollop, which as it turns out was a little bit too much. The lather was slick and voluminous. I was surprised, as I was completely expecting something like Cremo, not something you can actually lather with a brush. I face lathered it and did enjoy the scent, it was mostly a light sweet(powdery) take on a cucumber scent with a minor mint/menthol finish. I’m thinking the stuff could be alright, very interesting for sure.

Believe the Pure shave cream contains the same line "with or without a brush" and I've had success using it as a lathering cream in the past. Much more so than Cremo. I'm glad to see more products like this widely available in stores.

I wonder if the local Hyvee might get this as they have the Pure and also Cremo (this is also my source for Williams). I may need to check. I like buying things from them to encourage the restock.
