NEW FRAGRANCE ANNOUNCEMENT!
For years, we have avoided working with tobacco in soap in any real capacity. Not because I don't like the fragrance, but because there were other things that I really wanted to try out. So I'm very excited to announce our first major tobacco fragrance since Roam! Introducing The Full Measure of Man.
Genteel and smooth, the fragrance is a combination of cured tobacco, sandalwood, Mousse de Saxe (REALLY), citrus, vanilla, resins, myrrh, and geranium. It was inspired by photos of richly appointed libraries, peppered with winged leather armchairs, a glass of fine whiskey, and the smell of aging teak and mahogany wafting from the shelves. As with all Mousse de Saxe fragrances, the inky tang of the accord suffuses the entire scent like a whispered promise, and this is perhaps our favorite use of the design as an accent thus far.
If you're looking for a rich but elegant tobacco fragrance, not overly sweet and without even the barest hint of smoke, The Full Measure of Man is perfect. Available in shaving soap, aftershave balm, and a limited bath soap release.
Also, we're super pleased to announce the release of a new entry in the Soft Heart series! After tons of requests over the last couple of years, we've decided to bring back Rhapsody, Will's ode to orange blossom inspired by the famed masculine masterpiece Nicolaï New York! It smells just as good as it ever did, and the combination of orange blossom, pear blossom, patcohouli, sandalwood, vanilla, orange, lemon, bay, thyme, and rose is a welcome kiss of sweetness in what is shaping up to be a remarkable few weeks of Winter. It's less floral than you think and much better than you hope, so don't miss out! Available in soap and aftershave balm, with limited quantities available from Top of the Chain and Slickboys UK for our international customers.
Everything drops this Friday at noon, though there may be some delays with our retailers due to some weather-related backups for labeling.
