My new razor

Today I was presented with a special gift from my husband. I am so excited but know nothing about lady gillette's. It's a vintage (although I'm still older) 1973 lady T-1.

Anyone have one of these? Let me know how you like it. I can't wait to use it.

My wife has one she uses at times on her legs when she doesn't use her electric. Mild like a super speed but a longer handle. Good to see you around Lisa!

Awesome Lisa! I’ve seen some SOTDs where some guys say they enjoy using them, for whatever that’s worth. Mild razor I think.

Enjoy it! Any pics?

Sorry forgot to put pics on so here they are blue stars and all. Honestly I think he just was tired of me using his lol. Hi Dave in Kentucky.

That is a very nice razor Lisa. I’ve been thinking of giving the wife one. Please let me know your thoughts on it after you use it some.

Nice specimen. They came in Blue, Pink and champagne. The blue being the most common I think.Congrats on the new razor !

That’s an awesome razor, my daughter loves hers. Your husband is very wise for getting that for you, you will love it. It’s longer handle makes it perfect in so many ways. And your looks great

I have a few. Nice and mild. Easy shavers. My girlfriend uses one and it’s her favorite razor. She also gave one to her daughters and they both use it as well.

Fixed that for you.

Got one here too. Wife liked it when she could use it. It's a nice shaver, but I don't use many TTOs. Nose has been broke too many times and the doors are too thick to get close under it.

I think you have a hidden wild side with all those broken noses, that make quite a fun fascinating person with lots of great stories to tell.

sweet stuff to hear, I'm looking forward to trying it out even more. Thanks!

Broken nose a few times, cuts, burns, chipped my jaw, dislocated collarbone (still is), broken hands, chopped a finger off.... I have a few stories.

Last broken nose wasn't real exciting though. I was installing my new kitchen cabinets I had just helped my dad build in his cabinet shop and my heavy duty drill caught while I was drilling the drain hole for the sink under the cabinet. Swung around and got me good. I was just ticked off that I got blood on the floor that I had just installed... Then I got mad at the wife because she made me go to the ER. Ended up sitting 4 hours and they didn't even do anything. I could have been working for those 4 hours.....

Yea Lisa !! You could be the 1st lady wet shaver video. Maybe it's been done elsewhere that I haven't seen. Definitely the 1st for the Cadre though. Go for it.

My wife owns one and really enjoys it. But she uses the Lady Schick Injector more.

So update on the new razor. I like it but I have a heavy hand, caught myself pushing on it. It must be how light it is in comparison to what I'm use to. I'll get used to it in time.
