Micarta

I was getting ready to try to buy one but the price killed it. Love the look of the handles but a little outside my budget at the moment. Hopefully this catches on with other artisans. I like the blue and white one on the lower left.

Even if I sold stuff I’m not sure that I’d pay $300 for a brush, just on principle. It’d be a tough purchase to justify inside my own head. Sucks because there’s some stunners in that picture.

I saw these on tuesday for first time. Very cool, definitely a double take every time i think about them.
 
Don't think I've seen micarta with patterns like that before. Would like to see how that is made. They look great.
 
@Spider, do you know why the price is so much higher on the micarta? Is is somehow harder to work with, or does the brand name cost that much more?
