Looking for a razor.

Hey guys I am looking for a razor stainless steel preferred that is comparable to muhle r89 or Edwin jagger de89?

The RazoRock MJ-90A is made of aluminum, but it also is a little more aggressive than the DE89.

Yep, the 3one6 is a completely different razor than the de89. Why Edwin Jagger went another route for the 3one6 eludes me. They had a winner with the 89 and should have made a stainless version.

The Maggards v3 is supposed to be nearly identical, but the head is zamak (only the handle is SS). I believe the MR5 refers to a specific handle.

I was looking at one point, but had no luck. Closest I came to it was the Razorock MJ-90A with a SS handle. The head is Aluminum though. Still it was a nice razor and I used it until I came across the Henson Alum.

Have you tried the stainless version of the Karve Christopher Bradley? It might take a bit of testing, but I am willing to bet that one of the plates would have a similar level of aggression.

I’ve found that my Haircut and Shave N075 with aluminum baseplate behaves very similarly to my Mühle R89. Both excellent smooth shavers.
