LNHC Ouzoud

From @LNHC's website: "Ouzoud: Essential oil and aroma blend of rose geranium, bergamot, patchouli, vetiver, ambergris, elemi, black pepper, and French lavender." This is a rich, deeply layered, ever so slightly spicy scent that reveals its aromas over time. If you like complex scents in your soap, you'll love Ouzoud. I have never had a soap this deeply layered,; every scent blends together and complements each other so well that the end result is impressive as heck. I'm looking forward to tomorrow's shave. (y)

Here, here...... Shaved with it last night. Performance is outstanding. The scent though is just incredibly good. You get a little sharpness out of the tub that is like a clean wood with a bit of the black pepper floating. The magic begins once you start creating the lather as the aromas of each scent note dance around with each other. The vetiver, clean french lavender and the patchouli are present yet play with other so well. The rose, though not prominent just kisses the olfactory senses ever so slightly and just blends beautifully with a clean spice base. Masculinity in a smooth but, very refined way. Ouzoud & Somali Rose in Lisa's line up are my favorites scent wise. Honestly, there are no losers in her line up.

But yeah, Ouzoud is downright awesome....

Either of you try LNHC Tashmere and how the scent is different from Ouzoud?

Tashmere is a trifecta and then some of scent notes to my nose. I get a nice light orange citrus, woods and a soft flowery note. And that’s out of the tub. Building the lather is where some changes happen and a nice complexity of the scent develops. I get a little more of a creamy Sandalwood accord with a smooth amber like presence. More of the woods comes out intertwined with the semi sweet citrus and amber mix. Not dark but, a smooth woods with a touch of sweetness and warmth that rounds it out really nice.....
