It has started, I removed the scales from my Keen Kutter K11. I did find out that they are not supposed to be black, they are actually a translucent dark green. Unfortunately, the previous owner put something on them that wouldn't let the light shine through. I am planning on reusing a portion of the original scales for the wedge material. The new scales will be faux ivory.
