Chad suggested that he had previously (at another place) did an ABC theme for soaps one month so I think we will play along again and try this out. Instead of the whole month though...let's do two weeks this month and then next month we will finish up. So...without further ado...here are your themes for the month of June!

June 3 - June 16: ABC as easy as 123! - Okay...maybe not as easy as 1, 2, 3. But we are giving this a try. June 3 will correspond with the letter "A." So relate your soap in some way to the letter "A." An apple scented soap, a soap that begins with the letter "A." A soap that has an "A" in it. A soap that "A-O-Kay." A soap that is...well you get the picture. Then June 4 will correspond to the letter "B." Again...relate your soap or cream to the letter "B." June 5 is the Letter "C." And so on and so forth. We will finish up the rest of the alphabet next month. Here are the dates and their corresponding letters:
  • 3-Jun A
  • 4-Jun B
  • 5-Jun C
  • 6-Jun D
  • 7-Jun E
  • 8-Jun F
  • 9-Jun G
  • 10-Jun H
  • 11-Jun I
  • 12-Jun J
  • 13-Jun K
  • 14-Jun L
  • 15-Jun M
  • 16-Jun N

June 17 - June 23: It is TSC Artisan week again! This month we will be featuring Chamber Shave Company @The Chambers Man! So stock up on your Chamber Shave Company Soaps and Aftershaves as well as any other products you want from them and show off what you have!

June 24 - June 30: Making this a Soap/Cream Free Week! So do what you want...use up that old soap you have. Try a sample. Test out that new cream you just bought. Don't care what it is...we just want to see it and know about it!

  • As always I want to highlight that these themes are HIGHLY interpretable. Do with them what you will.

  • Pictures are always welcome, but not necessary. We just want you all to have some fun with this!

  • Suggestions are always encouraged! I want to include themes that you guys want to do! So send me a PM or tag me in a post with your suggestions and I will do my best to include them in the upcoming months!

  • But the most important thing to remember...Participate if you want to...but always have some fun!

I’m all in for the abc theme but I have zero chambers man soaps and then an open theme may just fit well into continuous abc theme if possible.

I'm lacking in the Chambers Soap also...but that is why I made sure it was three weeks into the month. Gives us plenty of time to get some if we wish!

I was thinking of doing the ABC theme all month...but wanted to break it up a bit. I can change it obviously if everyone wants it to keep going. What I can do is move the TSC Artisan week down to the forth week and the first three weeks can be the ABS theme. But I need more than just one or two people to chime in to make this happen.

I think it is fine like it is really Don and appreciate you doing the themes. I try to participate in as many as am able. The ABC theme is probably the most fun and I am going to attempt to do them in order and if I don’t have a letter I’m gonna skip it and go to the next.

Sounds like a plan!

Well May probably wasn't as much fun as you all would have liked. But let's see what June brings. It's Alphabet week (or two)..and today is the letter "A." It may not be summer yet but sure feels like it! I wish it was a Cold Day in Hell...because Louisiana is as hot as it...but it certainly ain't cold!

Razor: Merkur Progress
Blade: Lion Hi Stainless (New Blade)
Soap/Cream: Ariana & Evans - A Cold Day In Hell 2
Brush: Stirling Synthetic
Penultimate Aftershave: Thayers Coconut Water Witch Hazel
The Ultimate Aftershave: Ariana & Evans - A Cold Day In Hell 2

It's June...and a new week for the soap themes. This week and next we are doing the ABC theme. Meaning each day is a new letter of the alphabet and we try to relate r correspond our soaps/creams to that letter. It is very subjective so relating some of these letters might be pretty interesting.

Today's letter starts it off. We are relating our shaves to the letter "A." Thus...I used...A Cold Day in Hell 2 by Ariana & Evans. One of my favorite soap makers and one of my favorite soap scents. It is VERY complex as far as the scent goes and is right up my alley. And by complex I mean the scent notes are as follows: anise, black pepper, lavender, jasmine, midnight lotus, coffee, cannabis, juniper, vanilla, oakmoss and sandalwood . There is a lot going on but it all comes together.

I was going to go for the Beehive Bay Rum or the CRSW Bergamot and Bay, but the Black Sails caught my eye. Love the scent on this one!
Also blade change time, so threw in an appropriate one.

Baili Super Blue Blade
Black and Butterscotch Brush
Black Sails
Black Bowl
Bay Rum
