June 2021 Solar Eclipse

So this morning I got up a little earlier than normal and went up to the roof of my apartment building to watch the sun rise (wife and 1 year old declined to join me). I was treated to what will likely be a once in a lifetime event, watching the sun rise as a crescent because of a partial solar eclipse. Amazing how something dictated entirely by astrophysics can feel so personal and spiritual. Took a few (poor quality) photos with my phone. Did anyone else get to see this amazing phenomenon?

It would have been awesome to see...unfortunately, we had thick cloud cover here in Louisiana.
