Irritation Free Blades?

AlanH

I’m using Tiger Platinum Blades they are truly free irritation and work on my skin as I have sensitive skin when I shave..

Any suggestions for any other Free Irritation Blades??

Thank you

Alan H

A lot of what favors in to whether or not something is good for you for a shave depends on factors unique to you. It would be hard to say something is irritation free for you without you first giving it a try.

Generally a good way to experiment is to buy a blade sampler pack where there are a couple of a wide range of blades all packaged together.

For instance I really like GSBs, Wizamets, and Astra SPs. Not everyone does though.

I agree with @GearNoir ... This is a very personal thing, which seems to differ from person to person with no rhyme or reason.

Since you are in Canada, my best suggestion would be a blade sampler from Amazon.ca . You should be able to get a good sampler for a fair price.

As for me, I have found Personna Comfort, Bic Chrome platinums, or Gillette 7 o'clock blacks are my best bet.

Good luck Alan!

The Wizamets seem to work well for a lot of the guys here, myself included. They also seem to be lasting a little longer than other blades do for me.

I don't really keep track of how many times I use a blade, when I start to feel it tugging I replace it, but on average I usually get 4 - 5 shaves from a blade. With the Wizamets I seem to be getting a couple more shaves from each one. I have only been using them for a couple months so they are still fairly new to me but so far they have worked very well.

Another factor can be what the blades are coated with. If you notice that certain blades agree or disagree with your skin, and they happen to have the same coating, then take note of that as well.

But most of it is down to what @GearNoir said, even certain blade, razor, soap combos seem to leave my skin less irritated than others. Too many factors!

Very true Thank you soap make big difference as well it’s a fact
Great points on all you said

As per my blades I usually 3 time usage I toss out and per wizamet I’ll try more to see how long they last do little test safety tho without getting blood draw

Take care
