How to price vintage Gillettes

There’s a saying I use EVERY day in my world (investment). “Price is what you pay, value is what you receive.” As a relatively rare item you would think the rarity would add to both price and value but things like condition and demand figure in. And of course utility.
The only real way to establish a market value is to review previous sales to see what they sold for, like you would a house or car. Of course there’s always estimating value based on how YOU got it.
The forums always talk about the single ring like it’s a wonderouse thing but I’ve seen very few being bought/sold or even posted on the SOTD so I couldn’t even begin to suggest a value. I would love to add one to my collection but only to have one for the sake of completeness not be I would perceive them to have a particular value that others don’t.
