How Do You Clean Gold Plated Razors

I just purchased a Jones Shake Sharp razor off Etsy and probably will get it next week (if I am lucky). I know off the bat I can't use Scrubbing Bubbles because they say not to use on brass (under the gold plating) Also I read not to use a polishing cloth. So what do I do? Thanks Jerry

Tried Dawn dish soap and warm water already?

Scrubbing bubbles will cause exposed brass to darken, but it won’t harm the gold plating. You could then use a mild polish like brass or bon ami for those parts.

I didn't receive the razor yet but I use Dawn liquid soap so thank you very much

I had been watching that one on Etsy but couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger while not working. Congrats and look forward to your thoughts on it.
