Henson al13

Crest

Shave Newbie
Hi all
Took out the Henson al13 this week.
It really gives an awesome shave, very mild and efficient.
One thing I do notice, Everytime I use it is, it seems to wipe away so much lather on each pass that very little slickness is left behind.
My face is basically dry after each pass.
None of my other dozen razors or so do this.
Not an issue, but a strange phenomenon

Any others experience this?

I know you said it's not an issue, but you may need to slightly alter the composition of your lather for that particular razor if you would like to see some added post-shave slickness. The razor may feel more mild due to blade exposure, but the angle might actually be fairly aggressive, removing any residual slickness many razors leave behind. (I haven't used the Henson razor, so I really can't speak from a place of experience with that razor) A lather which is slightly less wet might be the way to go with the Henson razor.

Very, very mild in my opinion. I'm not a fan of the angle I have to hold the razor at to use it. But still a decent shaver. Just takes a bit of getting used to.

I've noticed this too. I've been using Henson razors to shave daily since October 2021. It almost acts like a squeegee. In between passes, I add a little more water to the brush.
