Hardware Wishlists

I have a few:

For me - a couple of things looking at stones - it‘s the next step for me - and I am lucky that we have the expertise here to guide me!

In the next year my checklist is as follows:
  1. Table Saw(with a nice freestanding base)
  2. Hobby planer for making really thin cuts of wood(better than my current hand/belt sander process)
  3. Drill Press(my setup works fine but this would be a luxury buy)
  4. A new Naniwa 1000 Chosera/Professional stone(unfortunately my original one became an unintended PIF)
  5. Aiiwtani lvl 4 JNAT (why not, then I’d have 5+, 5, 4.5, & 4 hardness levels)
  6. I wouldn’t mind a new Toney Miller Strop
  7. A few higher grit Diamond plates 600 -800 and a new coarse DMT(mine is worn to nothing).

Just be careful with those. So many people lose them in boating mishaps. Hm … maybe I need one of those big fishing magnets.

I never understand why anyone would lose such marvelous pieces of mechanical ingenuity in the water when they have the means to thwart anyone who might want them!

You saw that credit card companies have a special code for those, parts and ammo now? Makes it easier for big brother to track instead of a Misc code. Cash and carry brother.
