Wow, 119 years. Boy am I a slacker. I only found the hobby < 3 years ago. I flat out wasted 116 years. [emoji6]Dec 2nd 1901 the one and only King C. Gillette began selling the now ubiquitous and iconic blades we know and love today. Oh how far we have come.
Some days are UN-safety razor days! Like some days when Murphey show up, or when Matt @Luecke3262 uses one of his 100's (1000's?) of straight razors!I thought every day was safety razor day here.
This is true, 95% of my days are Un-safety razor days. I'll have to break out the Gillette Double Ring this afternoon, for this rare occasion. Annnd the current tally is 880 straight razors(so still in the 100's)..... Not including the 200+ in the parts/junk pile.....Some days are UN-safety razor days! Like some days when Murphey show up, or when Matt @Luecke3262 uses one of his 100's (1000's?) of straight razors!
Who's going to tell him?”....Everyday is safety razor day here, except those guys who use straights, injectors, single edges, or Grandpa’s WWI dagger that he took from the trenches.”
Tough crowd.I mean, the thread started with “the one and only King C. Gillette began selling the now ubiquitous and iconic blades we know and love today.”
