A we take account of all the happenings in our lives in 2024, overall to me it was a recovery year from the depth of Covid, a re-building if you will. I find it amusing to see the threads about what in 2024 were "pet peaves" It makes one realize that we are so blessed that we can air those grievances, knowing that in actuality they are minuscule to the tribulations many have gone through. We are Lucky and blessed to live where we do, how we do, and to have a forum like this
Over the years, many, thought a self moderated forum would never make it. It would be pandemonium. Be like the Wild West. Well each year we prove that with the quality of our members, the family atmosphere, and truly living the "CADRE" mentality we prove them wrong.
We had a tremendous year of growth here at the TSC, had and continue to have a Ton of Fun, so for that we thank you.
As I take stock of what I have been thankful for in 2024 it is YOU the members. I say this all the time and mean it! YOU ARE THE LIFE BLOOD of this joint, and I will forever be thankful for that. As to regrets, well I dont believe in them, as in my World, God, and only God, charts my path, so, I have to trust in that guidance.
My only regret is, as some mentioned, is that we could not make a "Get-Together" work for the upcoming year, but that concept is not dead, just on hold. I am thankful for my partners, @Cvargo , @CBLindsay , as I cannot think of two better men to share in this Idea that was hatched so long ago now, after we had a dream of how a forum could and should run. I am thankful for our concierge staff @NurseDave @Spider @heysi @Fenster for the help they give us each and every day.
