Cadre…. As of today, there are 71 days to Halloween. I am ready and getting into the “Spirit” already.

This thread is a place for all of us to post anything Halloween related. But most especially, talk about your plans for the holiday including decorations, parties, costumes, and what you will be doing for the kiddies (I.e. trick or treaters). And of course, as we get closer, post pics of everything mentioned!

As most of you know, this is my favorite holiday. And I decorate more for Halloween than I do for christmas. And I am already in the thick of buying my decorations for this year. Luckily Home Depot start putting their stuff online in July!!! I pre-ordered a bunch of stuff, and most of it has been delivered already.
I still have a few things I’m waiting on, and a few things to go out and find, but this is what my entryway look like right now….

Halloween is very low key in our household. We do let the kids dress up, trick or treat, and carve pumpkins. But that's all we do. Oh I do love watching Casper.

Danger Baby's Birthday is October 16th...but we are having a party on the 30th for her. The wife is having some friends over who have kids and am inviting them all to dress up. I am sure we will be doing a lot of decorating! I think Danger Wife wants a "Monster Mash" theme.

I cant tell which ones are decorations and which are general decore 😋
It’s impossible to tell at my house… it’s Halloween year round!

Actually the white skeleton at the end of the table has been sitting in that chair for over a year!

I am sure you watch Casper with your Apple Busch beer and Peach Whisky??🤪

Halloween & the broader autumn time was something I wasn't as big of a fan as a kid, but as I grow older, I come to appreciate more and more. Cooler nights, the beautiful color changes of our trees around here, renewed lawn care with the second turf growing season, high school, college and pro football, the list goes on and on. It has rapidly turned from my least favorite to favorite in the past 10 or so years.

Got a few more boxes in, almost have everything now. Hopefully get some stuff cleaned up and moved around this weekend to start unboxing and assembling some of it.

I do secretive things under the moonlight.
Tony!!!! Thanks for stopping by. This place isn't the same without you

You and my brother would get along great! LOL!

Here's my house from several years back. I collected the "Living Dead Dolls" for a while and one year I built a diorama in the living room...

Draped the coffee table with black cloth and spread out some craft moss. Added plastic tombstones and built the witch's "stone circle" out of that green florist foam and sprayed them with the "stone" finish spray paint. I bought a large canvas and painted a basic background with luminescent painted stars and moon. Some of the other decorations are repops of old Victorian-era decorations as well as some "primitive" style pieces.. To me the primitive ones are always the most disturbing.

I agree. I love Halloween costumes from the early 1900s. They are disturbing and way more creepy than anything today.
We got a giant inflatable monster heat for the car
That's pretty cool. Now you just need the 12" skeleton and 12" Inferno pumpkin to stand next to your car!
