Hello I’m Bill.
With interest in participating here I contacted @BarberDave with some questions. He graciously took the time from his schedule to call me. For this action, I am thankful.
My avatar choice is that of Max Headroom, a short lived sci-fi I liked from the late 80’s that was far ahead of it’s time. I have used his identity before.
I like to see and hear about the enjoyment others are having.
I have way too many razors, soaps and other chemicals and think I may have finally spent enough money. No promises though.
Most of my stuff is modern manufacture but there are a couple of things I own that may exceed my breathing experiences.
I have and use various DE, SE, shavettes, and straights. I haven’t used much that I didn’t like. I hone and strop on convexed gear but am not here to sell anything.
I’m a big Stirling fan, but have other stuff that works and smells just fine to me, except for maybe that bar room ashtray soap, the dirty hippie girl aftershave, and that really lousy stuff they made from rotting limes.
I choose an inaugural shave with stuff I like.
Stirling soap and AS, SfH flavored which was a limited scent offering that is supposed to be something like Versace for Him.
A big soap hogging brush.
A really cool Steampunk bowl form Symmetrical Pottery that costs a ton, but was gifted from my kids for Christmas one year.
My newest shaver, a 7/8 Thiers Issard Oakwing.
I don’t usually chase the baby, but I did a little bit today.
Happy Shaves.
