I have attached a picture of an anodized Carbon razor. The brand isn't relevant. I'm curious about what people think about this look. It is not my thing, but I fear I may be turning into Grampa Simpson.
I don't personally like that spectrum/rainbow effect. We did it at Zippo and at Case knives and I much preferred the anodizing/PVD coating in solid colors.
Definitely prefer solid color or two tone (on different, separate pieces of the razor) for anodizing. It seems to be pretty common for aluminum razors.
Gunkote and Serakote makes for some nice pieces too.
My inner knife nerd loves that, especially since it is MokuTi / Timascus. Also I am a touch prejudiced since I have done a bit of titanium annodizong in the past.
