Differences between A&A Kaizen & Peach & Cognac?

Hi all,

As the title says it all, I am interested to get either 1 or both since Maggard has it in stock and their shipping is reasonable to my country.

My question to the esteem members here who have both, can you describe/explain is there any difference between these 2 soaps?

I have 4 samples of A&A soaps and I know the scent is quite strong and lather quality is pretty good although being samples I am unable to determine more. I do like them especially Asian Plum.

The new peach and cognac is a kaizen base soap. I'd imagine it's performance is going to be the same as the original Kaizen. @BarberDave did some extensive tests with the Kaizen. I'm pretty sure it did very well, albeit not the best he's ever used (that would be a tough accomplishment). He also liked the scent on the original Kaizen, I'm pretty sure.

Thanks for your reply. I just like to know is it better just to get Peach & Cognac rather have 2 similar. Of course, the best thing to do would be to buy both...LOL
If it's similar, I rather get another type of artisan soap like DG or Zingari Man

I don't have Peach and Cognac, but I do have the original Kaizen. It smells nothing like peaches. I have the Cuban Highball in Kaizen and greatly prefer its scent to the original. For what it's worth, I prefer the Sego Base of Zingari Man to Kaizen. I hope someone here has both your choices so they can give you a direct comparison.

Sorry, I may have misunderstood you. If you're referring to the scent, they should be quite different.

It's my understanding that the Kaizen Orig is a lemony sweet cologne type (what's that called? Is it a Colognia scent?). The Peach is supposed to be peaches (2 types) with a cognac boozy scent. I've seen reference to a tropical drink, though I have neither so I can't verify the truth.

If your question is in reference to the base, they are identical. The difference is with the scents.

Yes, my question is more about the scent between the Kaizen and the P&C.

I like fruity scents and never had any peaches before so I should like P&C
I am just wondering whether it's justifiable to get the Kaizen at the same time since they're of the same base.
Of course in my shaver mind and heart side is to just get both and my rational side is to hold...but is losing the argument fast

Since your question is about the scents, then you just need to decide which one sounds better, or just get both. Many of us have multiple scents from the same maker, doesn’t matter if they are the same base, the different scents is the main reason for buying more.

Thank you, Sir, for your enabling reply...hahahaha. I guess I am just wanting both but finding excuses to procrastinate. Both soaps sounds great to me. I do have the same maker with different scents, like example Stirling and Catie's Bubbles.
Okay..got it and will proceed to buy both before Maggard ran out of stocks.

Thanks to all of the members here...my
Kaizen and Peach & Cognac have arrived! 24days from the USA to Malaysia...not bad at all. I have had 5 orders since last year from Maggard and all the deliveries were affordable and spot-on!
Will start with Kaizen tomorrow morning...
