Holy Cow! December sneaked up me and the year is coming to a close! I'm going to bump up the Artisan Week to the beginning of the month because of the holidays later in December. I am keeping the themes general for max participation...but you all know that whatever you decide to shave with is okay by me.

December 2nd - December 8th - TSC Artisan Soap Week featuring Mystic Water Soap @Mystic Water - I love my Mystic Water Soap and here at TSC we like to celebrate those who support the Cadre! I consider Mystic Water to be one of the OGs in the Artisan Soap world because she has been on the scene from the beginning! Well at least since I have been wet shaving! So show Michelle and her soaps some love and shave with Mystic Water Soaps!

December 9th - December 15th - Warm and/or Spicy - It's getting cold outside and what better way to warm the soul than the perfect Apple Cider, or Hot Toddy, or Wassail, or Mulled Wine, or just something as simple as a Hot Chocolate! This week let's shave with something that reminds us of a warm winter drink. Maybe it's a spicy scent. Or a coffee soap. Or something that has a component that reminds us of a drink...like apples from a warm apple cider. It's up to you all!

December 16th - December 22nd - Coniferous - Many of us will have a tree up for the holidays...and oh, that scent just freshens up the whole house. This week, shave with those soaps that have that cedar, or pine, or juniper, or other coniferous scents! Or maybe soaps that remind us of these scents. Again...it's up to you!

December 23rd - December 29th - The Holidays - Simple enough...this week is reserved for those soaps and creams that remind us of the holiday season.

Well there you have it Cadre! I hope these themes are to your liking! And as always suggestions are welcome! I hope this December will bring the best shaves ever!

I hadn't seen the new thread so winged it a bit. :) I will get back on track with MW on my next shave.
Tried a sample of Southern Witchcrafts Alchemist that @Spider sent me. Thanks!
Upon lathering the dominant note to me was the same as the dominant note in CF Ghost Town Barber - smoke! I must be extra sensitive to this particular scent. I shaved last night and over 12 hours later can still pick up the smoke scent occasionally after multiple AS applications (not containing any smoke).
It was actually a bit difficult to pick up the other notes but enjoyed it - if the smoke was not so overpowering, I think I could really enjoy this one!
Lather was moderately thick and creamy with a nice sheen and very slick - I got an excellent shave.

Interesting @Jaidmaster ! The scent notes in Alchemist are: Bergamot, green florals(rose stems, ivy leaves, hyacinth), sandalwood, fungus, birch tar, myrrh, amber, leather, plumeria, smoke. I personally don't even smell the smoke in it. And I wish I smelled it so long after use. But I love that scent so much I have the AS and EdT as well....... And I despise GTB, so I'm glad they don't smell similar to me..
