Thanks! Looks like the eye will pass right over my house some time tonight. So far just some rain and a little win for me.
Stay Safe @dangerousdon and anyone else in the path, send it our way maybe it will put out the fire, LOL
Yeah please stay safe. There are already tornados and stuff near our house in Florida because of the storm so I know it will be a lot worse for you guys in its direct path so I'm sure I speak for everyone else please stay safe and prayers for you guys... And let us know you guys are safe after it passes...
The storm turned out to be a nothing burger for us in the Baton Rouge metro area. I am grateful for it, but I know that others received a lot of rain. The storm kept shifting east which put us on the drier side of the storm. There was a lot of dry air being feed into it so the really bad rain bands and cells were about 90 miles from the center of it to the east. I know Mississippi got the worst of the rain and a lot of the hotels and casinos were evacuating people by boat.
Where I am at, we got some strong wind and a little rain...but nothing really all that bad. Like I said...I am grateful for not having anything more...but I know there were a lot of people that were affected by it.
Well I'm glad it worked out for you. I was curious how you fared... I hope others had the same fortune.
