TLDR: This is our last "Official" Limited Edition Soap it comes in two different label designs (just because) Red for odd# tins 1-43 and Black for even# tins 2-42. It is the same fragrance just a different colored label design this soap also uses Red Kaolin Clay giving it a very unique red color.

Fragrance:
(Rose-Sandalwood-Cherry Blossom)

Originally I had planned on releasing this as Dragon Lady at multiple customers requests and it was intended as a Men's version of "Rosie" (Rose-Sandalwood) which turned out to be at least equally if not more popular for men. The addition of Cherry Blossom while subtle sets it apart.

History: Many people assume that the last missions flown by B-29s in WWII were the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Believe it or not however, even after the tragic loss of life there were still many high ranking officials in the Japanese government and Japanese Military that were not particularly keen on an unconditional surrender. Following nearly a week with no response from Japan following Nagasaki, the United States launched the largest scale bombing mission in the Pacific Theatre it was originally planned for over 1000 aircraft but fell slightly short of this goal due to mechanical failures.

On the evening of August 14th B-29s from the 315 Bomb Wing took off from Guam in the Mariana Island Chain towards their primary target the last operating Japanese oil refinery in Tsuchizaki Japan near Akita at nearly 3,740 miles it was the longest non-stop combat mission from Guam and just short of a the WWII record of 3,950 miles set in 1944.

"Dark Angel" of the 501st Bomb Group piloted by Commander, Byrne and crew were among the B-29's making this very historic flight. En route the B-29 radio operators were tuned in intently waiting for a message to abort that never came. As fate would have it the Staff Office of the Ministry of War of Japan and many from the Imperial Guard attempted a coup on the evening of the 14th known as the Kyujo incident. The blackout as a result of this massive bombing campaign on August 14 in part also contributed to the failure of the coup attempt.

Due to the long flight in excess of 17hrs and due to time differences many of these B29s were still in the air on August 15th when the official word finally broke of Japan's unconditional surrender.
