Colonial DE razor finally headed to market?

Not overly keen on the handle...but that razor head...wow. If they can keep prices down, this looks like a winner!

Seems like the latest folks to display razors all paired them with strange looking handles. the Javelin's handle looks like it needs a point on one end and fins on the back, Carbon looks like a poodle, and this one looks like a pregnant Ball end that went to prison. Is there an Ugly Razor Handle 101 class in the community college that all the razor makers are attending?

I think the handle is about the only thing that can be heavily creatively altered without killing the shave.

Agreed. Everyone wants to stand out but they're not standing out as different in a good way in my book either

Yes. The site is also pretty tight lipped on details and the blurb about not expecting anything fancy with the presentation is just odd.

Well, preorder begins this Sunday, the 16th with a projected delivery date of August. The Silversmith Looks ok but, I’d really like to see their Brass General V2 come to fruition. I’m going to pass on this and wait for their 2nd gen. General to come up, hopefully soon...

No. They modified it. Seems like they’re trying to gauge interest in the razor. Funny thing is they stated in their newsletter that it won’t be a regularly stocked item. They plan on doing it in batches or runs and notifying consumers via social media sites and their newsletter. I find it rather odd to be honest. I’m not in this razor hunt as it just didn’t wow me but, I hope that it’s successful for Colonial. Their good guys.....
